Summary of Contents: 1 copy of 'Ilajat-i Dara Shikuhi. Vol. III by Muḣammad 'Abd Allāh, Nūr al-Dīn, al-Shīrāzi̲, active 1625-1640

F1a: a) Notice of purchase for 20 rupees dated 8 Safar 1142, with the knowledge of Muhammad Subhan (?), next to impression of the seal of the slave of the court. Cf. vols. I and III. b) Note in Persian giving the number of folios as 781, and of gatherings as 97, with five extra leaves. c) Impression of seal with three dates, as on vols. I and II. Defaced note, and defaced largish round seal. Cf. vol. II. F781a. Impression of oval seal dated 1147, as on vols. I and II. Two unnumbered folios bound in after f781 have a list of contents. Headings and punctuation in red. Two wash diagrams of human anatomy on ff21b and 28b.

History

Origin: At the endn there is a colophon recording the completion of the work at Delhi on Monday 14 Sha'ban A.H. 1056 (26 September 1646). However, it seems likely this is copied from an earlier manuscript.
