After the main text come two folios with quotations from the Qur'an on the subject of fighting the infidels and a statement of the need to oppose the encroaching Europeans etc. Contains several diagrams of fortifications and siege works. Treatise on the art of war. Translated from a brief work in French composed in A.D. 1704 for Louis XIV by De AUBAN (Vauban?). Translator is anonymous.
