Flyleaf preceding text, recto: Presented to the Oriental Translation Committee by Sir A Malet Bart. A dictionary of terms and appropriate verses used in epistolary correspondence. Headings in red. Most pages are divided by red lines into panels of varying size mostly filled with phrases appropriate to particular circumstance. In the colophon the scribe remarks that the original from which it was copied was curtailed and full of mistakes.
