First flyleaf, recto: a) Note, in French, seemingly recording presentation to Price, dated 18 Sept. 1793. b) Persian verses, evidently written by Price. Second flyleaf, a verse in Persian and a note in English, evidently written by Price. Back flyleaf, verso: Note, evidently by Price, concerning Firishtah's assertation that Asadi contributed to the Shahnamah. Ruled margins. Headings in red. Illuminated panels above opening of sections of the text, 25 late Mughal miniatures. Preface composed for Mirza Baisunqur.
