1 copy of Bustan by Saʻdī
F1a, notes of acquisition(?) dated 1208? (1793-4?) and 1228 (1813. Final folio, verso: a) Ex libris C J Doyle A.D. 1820. b) Impression of small rectangular seal, not read. The MS ends with a long 'colophon' in verse, describing how it was made at the command of the Nawwab Intizam al-Mulk Amir al-Daulah Nusrat Jang, whose name was Haidar and that the gilding was carried out between 1 Rajab and the 'Id (at the end of Ramadan, presumably) in the year 1202 (7 April - 6 July 1788). Ruled margins. Headings in red. Each hemistich of the text has gilding around it. The initial opening has elaborate illumination.
