Author: Sa'di.

F1a: scribbling, presumably defacing the name of a previous (European) owner, beside the date 1787. F1b, signature of David Price. Front flyleaf: Presented by Major Price. (In Morley's hand?) The Hafiz has the preface of Muhammad Gulandam. Ruled margins and dividing panels in red. Headings also in red.

Incipit: Hamd u thana-yi bi-hadd wa sipas-i bi-qiyas [sic]
