F1a: inspection not beside impression of large round seal of 'Isawi Khan Bahadur, devotee of Ahmad Shah, dated 1161 (1748), regnal year 4. Flyleaf, recto: Wm Ouseley (crossed through). Inside front cover: printed slip with title, perhaps from a sale catalogue, above armorial bookplate of Gordon of Buthlaw. The identity of the author is uncertain. He appears not to use a takhallus in his poems. He may be the late seventeenth-century poet mentioned by Beale, Dictionary of Oriental Biography, p. 285. Ruled margins and dividing panels.
