F1a: Copied as by the present Poet Laureate Fath Alee Khan Kaushee 1804 Charles Pasley Front flyleaf, recto, in pencil: Donated by Sir Charles Malcolm. Penultimate flyleaf, verso: Presented to the Royal Asiatic Socy by Sir Charles Malcolm Inside back cover: armorial bookplate of Charles Pasley. Ruled margins and dividing panels. Headings in red. Panel of illumination over beginning of text. The last part of the manuscript contains the story of Shaikh San'an and the Christian maiden from the Mantiq al-Tair of 'Attar.
