On back cover: Book of Hindustani poetry - found in Goozerat 0n the 22nd of February 1849 - the day after the great action at that place E?D.E? Money. Inside front cover of the outer casing, pasted slip: Presented by E. Baverstock Esq to the Library of the Royal Asiatic Society through W?S? Arbuthnot. The first poem ends with a kind of dedication to a Muhammad Shah. Ruled margins. Headings and some punctuation in red.
