1 copy of Tīmūrʻnāmah-ʼi Hātifī by Hātifī, d. 1520 or 21
The initial entry is writtten in the Library copy of Codrington. Defective at beginning and end; some folios are replacements. Third flyleaf: a poem in (Eastern?) Turkish. Verso of final folio of text bears verses, including several references to 'Umar Khan. Notes in Library copy of Codrington: a) In pencil: (This MS has gone to be repaired in Oct 1963, particulars in Office) b) In ink: Given to the British Museum on 5th JUly 1965 on long loan. Ruled margins and dividing panels. Headings in gold and red. Two miniatures of battle scenes in poor condition, probably sixteenth-century Persian, Not in Robinson's catalogue.
