Summary of Contents: Ghazals followed by ruba'is, both arranged by rhyming letter. Cf. Ethe No 1601, with the same incipit after a prose preface which is absent in this MS. Apparently an early collection of the author's work.
Author: Zafar Khan 'Ahsan'.
Title: Divan of Mirza Ahsan (Better known as Zafar Khan).

F1a: a) Note of acquisition at Burhanpur in 1163 (1749-50) and loan to somebody, next to impression of rectangular seal of Mirza Nawazish Khan dated 1163. b) Verses of Nurjahan Begum, Nasir 'Ali and Jalal Asir. F1b: signature of David Price. Extra folios before and after the text contain verses, including ones attributed to Bidil, 'Ishqi and Adham. Author was governor of Kashmir and Kabul under Shahjahan.

Incipit: Chu gardad sharmsari dar qiyamat 'udhr-khwah-i ma Ghazals followed by ruba'is, both arranged by rhyming letter. Cf. Ethe No 1601, with the same incipit after a prose preface which is absent in this MS. Apparently an early collection of the author's work.
