Summary of Contents: Ghazals followed by ruba'is, both arranged by rhyming letter. Cf. Ethe No 1601, with the same incipit after a prose preface which is absent in this MS. Apparently an early collection of the author's work.Author: Zafar Khan 'Ahsan'.F1a: a) Note of acquisition at Burhanpur in 1163 (1749-50) and loan to somebody, next to impression of rectangular seal of Mirza Nawazish Khan dated 1163. b) Verses of Nurjahan Begum, Nasir 'Ali and Jalal Asir. F1b: signature of David Price. Extra folios before and after the text contain verses, including ones attributed to Bidil, 'Ishqi and Adham. Author was governor of Kashmir and Kabul under Shahjahan.
