Morley Handwritten Cat. 179 is from the Price bequest, as is clear from Morley's list of donor's, and is Codrington/Reade No 312. The addition to the page, attributing the gift to Bagnold and making Price's copy a second one is plainly erroneous. F1a: a) Humla Hydiri 1 vol M? E? Bagnold Col. B'bay Army (A similar note on final filio, verso) b) Stamp, the name in ink: Presented to the ROYAL ASIATIC SOCIETY by Major Genl. Bagnold A verse account of the life of Muhammad and the first Caliphs, with the continuation of Muhammad Sadiq Azad. Margins and dividers ruled and gilt. Headings in red with gold infilling. Panels of illumination above beginning of text, beginning of continuation and at one intermediate point. Fourteen fairly simple miniatures in Kashmir style.
