1 copy of Mirʼāt-i Aḥmadī by ʻAlī Muḥammad Khān, 1700?-
Folio one, recto: a) in red ink probably by the original rubricator: al-juz-i awwal-i [sic] tawarikh-i mir'at-i ahmadi, 'part one of the histories of the Mir'at-i Ahmadi'. b)stamp with name written in: Presented to the ROYAL ASIATIC SOCIETY by John Romer Esq. By the sane scribe as Nos 83 and 84, and uniformly bound. The set was made for John Romer. The author's name does not seem to appear in the introductory passage, but is given in the colophon of No 83. A History of Gujarat, from the origin of the kingdom to A.H. 1174. This MS contains the first part of the work, to A.H. 1131, ending with events of A.H. 1131 / A.D. 1719. Scribe was Shiv La'l sone of Sundar La'l Nakir? Ahmadabadi, resident in Surat.
