Title: Diwan of Salman Sawaji.
(Ethe no 1237: ... huwiyyat majal yaft) Defective at end. F270 did not originally follow 269. Many explanatory notes and glosses, mostly old. F1a: a) On strip of marginal repair, impression of round seal, name unread, dated A.H. 946. b) Note of purchase by Muhammad 'Ali b, Muhammad al-Tabib?, dated 1306 (or 1206?), by blurred impression of Muhammad 'Ali's small oval seal. Front flyleaf, verso: Long note on the manuscript and the author signed by 'Abdallah al-Mushir al-Mamalik (sic), above impression of small oval seal: Mushir al-Mamalik 1215. Back flyleaf, verso, in pencil: 27.10.19 Inside front cover: note in the hand of Mushir al-Mamalik, pointing out that 2 folios are unnumbered between 28 and 29. Does not contain Salman's mathnawi's. Headings in red. Ruled margins and divicing panels in red an blue. Occasional verses written diagonally in the form of a cross..Incipit: Har dil kih dar hawa-yi jamalish majal yaft
