Pasted inside the front cover is a card in the hand of Simon Digby describing the work. A collection of specimens of Madhu Ram's letters and other documents in two sections. The first contains items composed for Lutfallah Khan and Kokaltash Khan, the second the author's own correspondence. Possibly a selection of the original. Headings and punctuation in red.
