Summary of Contents: بستان للعارفين و گلستان للعابدين A Persian work on Sufism, anecdotal in character, treating of ethical and
religious topics and written partly in prose and partly in verse. I have not found
any notice of it elsewhere. Begins: حمد و ثنا خالق زمین و زمانراصانع بی آلتی همین و همانرا The author's name, Zaynu'l-'Abidin, is mentioned in the following passage (f. 4):چنین گوید متوقد این شمع و مترتب این جمع تراب اقدام صلحا و فقرا
بنده بیچاره زین العابدین
خاك راه زمره اهل یقین که چون توفیق باری عزّ اسمه رفیق شد الخ He states that on retiring from his employment as an official secretary and
accountant he devoted himself to the religious life and composed the present work,
which is dedicated to the Tímúrid Prince Nusratu's-Saltana Sultán Khalilu'lláh
(807-812: d. 814/1411-12). The title is given on f. 12ª: بستانا للعارفين و گلستانا للعابدين موسوم شد The work consists of three chapters, which are subdivided into ten, five, and
two fasls respectively. Table of contents: Chapter I, Fasli, as; Fasl ii, äcball ; Fasl iii, S; Fasl iv, ,Fasl oil : فى كثرة البكا عن خشية الله Fasl فى رياضة النفس Fast : في طلب الحلال

22 October, 1486, and written in a rather archaic ta'liq, which is quite legible
though the scribe has recorded that on account of his infirmities - he was then
seventy-five years old - and his weak sight he copied the last pages hastily. The MS. was bought from the heirs of Sir Albert Houtum-
Schindler on January 5, 1917.
