Mystical romance set in the Panjāb, inspired by accounts of Laylá and Majnūn, composed in mas̲navī form by Muḥammad Akram Panjābī "Ghanīmat" (d. 1100/1698).
Dated colophon (f. 66r): completed by Jvālā Parsād, afternoon of Saturday, 29 Ramaz̤ān in RY 16 [of Emperor Shāh ʿĀlam] (circa 1189)/23 November 1775.
Bold and sometimes awkward nastaʿlīq in two columns, occasionally written obliquely.
Annotations (f. 66v) on the dying of hair and treatments for eyes.
