Summary of Contents: Miscellaneous collection of works on literary criticism. Volume not dated; item a dated (27 Rabīʿ al-S̲ānī 1255/10 July 1839); items b is extracted from a manuscript of heterogeneous origins, but approximately contemporaneous. Small to large scribal nastaʿlīq, by multiple hands. Pencil foliation. Lacking original binding. Binding damaged (combed marbled paper edged with brown leather), labelled. Folios of item a bound, item b unbound; cropped, later repairs. The volume was once owned by Muḥammad Karīm Allāh.

Untitled commentary on the poetic compositions of the poet, Sayyid Jamāl al-Dīn Muḥammad Ḥusayn ibn Zayn al-Dīn ʿAlī ibn Jamāl al-Dīn Shīrāzī, with the takhalluṣ ʿUrfī (d. 999/1591), patronised at the court of the Timurid (Mughal) Emperor Akbar I (d. 1114/1605).

The author is not identified within the work, however it is attributed in the colophon to the litterateur, poet and literary critic, Sirāj al-Dīn ʿAlī Khān Dihlavī with the takhalluṣ Ārzū(d. 1169/1756).

Dated colophon (f. 74v): completed by Bīnī Rām(Beni Ram) in the evening of Wednesday, 27 Rabīʿ al-S̲ānī 1255/10 July 1839.
