Summary of Contents: Miscellaneous collection of poetic works on Sufism, the imamate, and courtly panegyrics, comprised of items extracted from heterogeneous sources. Volume not dated; only item c dated ([2] Rabīʿ al-S̲ānī 1215/23 August 1800). Rough nastaʿlīq and shikastah āmīz by multiple hands. Pencil and discontinuous Persian foliation. Lacking original binding. Paper dust wrapper (EIC legal publication, Act No. XIII of 1840, 4 Geo. IV Cap. 83); partial watermark (crowned rampant lion in crowned oval frame, Edwin Morrey 1838); torn, folded, creased, stains; labels. Folios mostly unbound; folios extended along outer edges; original edges irregularly cropped, distinct water stains and smudging, wormholes, later repairs. Condition fragile.

Untitled collection of the qaṣāʾid or eulogies of the poet, Sayyid Jamāl al-Dīn Muḥammad Ḥusayn ibn Zayn al-Dīn ʿAlī ibn Jamāl al-Dīn Shīrāzī, with the takhalluṣ ʿUrfī (d. 999/1591), patronised at the court of the Timurid (Mughal) Emperor Akbar I (d. 1114/1605).

Heavily annotated in margins and interlinear spaces by later hands.

This work is followed on folio 126 by recipes for food and medical treatments.

Untitled collection of naʿt of the Prophet Muḥammad, manqabat poems in mixed genres praising the imam and caliph ʿAlī ibn Abū Ṭālib, his wife Fāṭimah, the second imam Ḥasan, the third imam Ḥusayn, the fourth imam Bāqir Zayn al-ʿĀbidīn, the sixth imam Jaʿfar al-Ṣādiq, and the eighth imam Mūsá al-Riz̤āʾ, by Sayyid Bandah ʿAlī Qādirī, with the takhalluṣ Bāsiṭī.

The scribe has irregularly added text in margins, along with corrections, and collation marks.

The collection is followed by notes on genealogy and miscellaneous verses (f. 161v); followed by a ghazal and qiṭʿah in Urdu (f. 162r).
