Complete, but damaged and thoroughly disordered copy of the Arabic Qurʾān with occasional annotations and corrections in the margins.
Dated colophon: completed … for Masīḥ al-Zamān Khān the ṭabīb… (date obscured). Datable to the late eighteenth century.
Not foliated.
Indications in margins for sujūd, rukūʿāt, aḥzāb (s̲uls̲, rubʿ, khams, niṣf, and so on) in coloured inks.
Rough naskh; annotations in various cursive hands.
Crude illumination added (probably later) throughout.
Metallic pigments oxidised.
Lacking original covers.
Folios unbound and disordered; wormholes, stains, creases, smudging, tearing, unevenly cropped, later repairs.
