Substantive Naqshbandī Sufi hagiographical collection by Badr al-Dīn ibn Ibrāhīm Sirhindī (of present Sirhind), dealing with the virtues of important figures from the Caliph Abū Bakr to the formation of the Mujaddidī branch of the Naqshbandīyah silsilah in India, under the Mujaddid-i alf-i s̲ānī, Shaykh Aḥmad ibn ʿAbd al-Aḥad ibn Zayn al-ʿĀbidīn al-Fārūqī al-Kābulī al-Naqshbandī(d. 1034/1624).
Colophon not dated (f. 183v): completed by Muḥammad Zamān the kātib(scribe).
Neat scribal naskh throughout.
Annotations in margins.
Foliation in pencil throughout.
Rebound in IOL red half leather binding, stamp dated 15 Jul 1966.
