Encyclopaedia of sciences, entitled Dānish nāmah-'i jahān, written by Ghiyās̲ al-Dīn ʿAlī ibn ʿAlī Amīrān al-Ḥusaynī al-Iṣfahānī (d. 606/1209-10).
The treatise is divided into ten sections termed faṣl, with further subdivisions, and concluding with a khātimah.
Spaces allotted for diagrams have been left blank throughout.
Dated colophon (f. 116v): completed at Patna, Tuesday (?), 4 Rabīʿ al-Avval 1025/22 March 1616.
Neat scribal nastaʿlīq occasionally tending to shikastah.
