Summary of Contents: Miscellaneous collection consisting primarily of a work on ritual prayer. Volume not dated; datable to the sixteenth and eighteenth century. Neat scribal Persian naskh. Annotations in margins. Stamped and (partially preserved) Persian foliation. Lacking original binding. Binding, red half leather IOL covers, stamp dated 14 May 1916. Folios bound, but occasionally disarranged; cropped, wormholes, water stains, later repairs; gauze overlay over large numbers of folios. Condition fragile.

Compendious treatise on the ritual prayers and other religious duties by Abū Bakr Aḥmad ibn Muḥammad ibn ʿAlī al-Qurashī or Qarshī.

Arabic and Qur’anic quotations overlined; headings in red.

Not dated at end. Datable to the sixteenth century.

Although cropped, folio 82 retains its original dimension along the lower edge.

Untitled selection of two separate chronogrammatic qiṭaʿāt encoding the ʿurs or date of death (in 1012/1603) for the Naqshbandī Sufi saint, Khvājah Muḥammad Bāqī Billāh Dihlavī.
