1 copy of Miftāḥ al-daqāʾiq miftaḥ bāb al-ḥaqāʾiq by Jahāngīr ibn Ghulām Rasūl ibn ʿAlī Aṣghar al-Riz̤avī al-Ḥasanī al-Jawnpūrī
Commentary on difficult verses found in lyrics or ghazalīyāt of the Sufi and poet, Nāṣir ʿAlī of Sirhind (also known as Sihrind or Sarhind), takhalluṣ ʿAlī (d. 1108/1697), by Jahāngīr ibn Ghulām Rasūl ibn ʿAlī Aṣghar al-Riz̤avī al-Ḥasanī al-Jawnpūrī, who composed the work in 1183/1769-70 at the suggestion of a certain Shaykh ʿAbd al-Vāḥid.
Dated colophon (f. 131v): completed in forty days for Sayyid Ḥasan by Bashārat ʿAlī, a Wednesday in Rajab, in RY 21 of Emperor Akbar Shāh II, 1241/February-March 1826.
Rough nastaʿlīq in a relatively modern hand.
Reddish brown leather binding with brown leather edging, damaged; labels.
Folios mostly bound.
Previous owner’s inscription at beginning.
Condition fragile.
