Complete copy of the compendious gazetteer Āʾīn-i Akbarī, the last volume of the official regnal chronicle, the Akbar'nāmah, by ʿAllāmī Shaykh Abū al-Faz̤l Nāgawrī, commissioned by the Timurid (Mughal) ruler, Emperor Akbar I (d. 1014/1605).
The work comprises an introduction, three sections termed daftar, and a conclusion containing the author’s partial autobiography.
