1 copy of Ṣaḥīfah-'i kāmilah
Persian translation and commentary by an unnamed translator of the al-Ṣaḥīfat al-kāmilah, also known as the al-Ṣaḥīfat al-Sajjādīyah, by Imām Zayn al-ʿĀbidīn ʿAlī ibn al-Ḥusayn known as al-Sajjād (d. circa 92/710), comprising Arabic prayers and instructions for their recitation.
The translator gives the original Arabic (overlined) followed by the translation and commentary.
The work lacks an explanatory introduction or conclusion.
Dated colophon (f. 417r): completed at Burhānpūr, Friday, 24 Rabīʿ al-S̲ānī 1059/7 May 1649.
Rounded scribal naskh and nastaʿlīq on alternating lightly tinted papers (buff, pink, green); rough nastaʿlīq by a later hand on replacement leaves.
Stamped foliation.
Lacking original covers.
Binding, red half leather IOL covers, stamp dated 14 May 1916.
Folios bound, trimmed and remargined with new mounts; multiple water stains, wormholes, later repairs subsequently cropped, gauze overlay on fragile parts.
Condition poor.
