Transcribed, according to the colophon, from a manuscript authenticated by the author and dated at Shahjahanabad, Jumada I, 1107 (Dec. 1695/Jan 1696).
Folio 1r includes an inspection note dated 6 Rajab regnal year 37 (8 Dec. 1695) and a transfer to Muḥammad Karīm al-Dīndated 10 Jumada II, 1136 (6 Mar. 1724) in addition to several damaged notes.
