Summary of Contents: A commentary on the famous Qaṣīdah al-mīmīyah al-khamrīyah of ʻUmar ibn ʻAlī, often known as Ibn al-Fāriḍ (1181 or 1182-1235), by Nūr al-Dīn ʿAbd al-Raḥmān Jāmī Hiravī (1414-92). The work was finished in Safar 875 (August-September 1470)Title: شرح قصیدۀ فارضیّهHas two lacunae after folios 4 and 14.

Catchwords on the bottom-left corners of the verso.
Condition
Slightly worm-eaten. Detached from binding with broken stitching.
Layout
15 lines per page; poetry in two columns.

Fair naskh; copied in black ink, with most of the Arabic poetry which is being commented on in red.
Additions:(f. 1r) Notes giving the title of the work.
A folio, numbered 15 in pencil, has been inserted at the end of the work. Despite some similarities, it does not belong to this codex and has red underlinings.
Miscellaneous notes throughout the codex.
(endleaves) A poem in mustazād form (in which a short verse comes after a long verse) ascribed to Rumi (beginning with هر لحظه بشکلی بت عیّار برآمد/ دل برد و نهان شد) has been written obliquely (chalīpā), together with several rubais in a different hand.
