Provenance and Acquisition

: Phillips, Son and Neale: April 1966; Major Dary; false seal of (Sir) Robert Palk Fakhruddawla 1181/1767-8. Evidently appended by a dealer in England in modern times, as it is found, (in unsuitable imperial red) on many MSS of different “subsequent” ownership which appeared at the same sale:
