Summary of Contents: This manuscript contains commentary on the book of Aphorisms attributed to Hippocrates.

Original manuscript in the Vatican Library.

This is a Judaeo-Arabic MS of Ḥunayn ibn Ishaq's Translation of Galen's commentary on the Hippocratic Aphorisms. The beginning of each Book is as follows: Bk1: 8a; Bk2: 25b; Bk3: 44a; Bk4: 59a; Bk5: 81b; Bk6: 99b. It is incomplete, ending in the middle of comm. on lemma vi. 5.

History

Origin: The copy is unnamed and undated. Beit-Arié estimates the date of copying around the late 14th century CE.
