A note on the flyleaf gives a prescription for dispelling plague attributed to al-Shaykh ʻAbd al-Qādir Jīlānī
A shamsah on folio 1a contains the words الهى عاقبة محمود كردان in the centre of an illuminated panel.
On folio 64b there are two magical? grids and a note. There is also an insert describing in Persian some of the khawāṣṣ of Ayat-i Kursī.
On the rear flyleaf is another magic square and notes in Persian about the days of the week.

Fine Naskh in black ink with some rubrication.
Binding
Qājār period floral lacquer binding possibly added later. Original folios may have been cut as some marginalia eg. folios 5b, 6b may be truncated.
