Folios 1-8 contain a list of contents and are not original. They are dated 21 Dhu 'l-Hijja 1157. Folios 11-16 are later replacements. Fifth front flyleaf, verso: armorial bookplage of Sir Cha. Warre Malet. Seventh front flyleaf: Presented to the Oriental Transaltion Come by Sir A Malet Bart Eighth front flyleaf: Notes in Persian, all in the same hand, recording births of two sons. a) on the eve of Ramadan 1194 in the port of Kanbayit. b) 27-8 Rajab 1196, at half past five of the night, at Bandar Surat. Pages attached to new inner margins. History of the Dynasties contemporary with the 'Abbasi, and up to A.H. 778. Part of the same work as Codrington/Reade No 29.
