Summary of Contents: 1 copy of Habib al-siyar. Vol. II by Khvānd Mīr, Ghiyās̲ al-Dīn ibn Humām al-Dīn, ca. 1475-1535?

Folio 1, recto: note of transfer to Muhammad 'Ali Simaki al-Astarabadi, beside impression of small pyriform seal, over which a piece of paper has been pasted. Inside back cover: armorial bookplate of Sir Cha. Warre Malet [ Codrington/Reade notes 'Seal of Farutch Siyar att. 1125, outside first page.' This derives from a handwritten addition to the Library copy of Codrington, which in fact belongs to Codrington No 46 (q.v.). The seal is not of Farrukhsiyar but of someone in his service.] N.B. The number 48 appears nowehere on the manuscript. Part of the same work as Codrington/Reade No 46. Same scribe throughout. Rubrication.
