Front flyleaf, recto: Presented by Sir John Malcolm May 19. 1827 A general History of Persia from the earliest times to A.H. 1063. The title does not appear in the beginning or end of the text but is given on folio one, recto, probably in the hand of the scribe of the MS. The colophon states that the MS was written at the command of Aqa Muhammad Zaman son of Muhammad Baqir. Headings in red.
