Calligraphic Nastaʻlīq with naskh and attempts to reproduce the original forms of incriptions, some diagrammatic; rubrics; paginated 164 pages; 82 folios; numerous marginal collations and corrections by the same scribe, evidently working under the direction of a patron; European type paper: watermarked “Allybhoy Gyebally and co, Sutar Chawl, Bombay” and “The Emperor Edward the Peacemaker” beneath a remarkable coat of arms, with a portrait of the King-Emperor Edward VII blazoned on the escutcheon, and supporters, a Maratha chieftain and a Rajput chieftain.
