Oriental Manuscripts

Contents

1 copy of Kitāb-i Sharḥ al-vāṣilīn va tawsīf al-jāhilīn by Jamālī Ardistānī

This is said by Ivanow (ASB, No. 648) to be the seventh part of a large mas̲navī entitled Bayān-i Ḥaqā’iq-i Aḥvāl-i Sayyid al-Mursalīn بیان حقائق احوال سید لمرسلین by Jamālī-i Ardistānī, but in Or. 11946 the seventh part is the Kashf al-Arvāḥ کشف الارواح . The latter is not the introduction to the Bayān, as suggested by Ivanow, but its concluding section. Hence the Sharḥ al-vāṣilīn must be an entirely separate work by Jamālī

Language(s): Persian
