Summary of Contents: تأريم آل عالمنار A history of the Qájár dynasty down to 1220/1805, composed in 1269/1852-3 by Mustafa-quli ibn Muhammad Hasan al-Músawi as-Sarawi (of Saráw or Saráb) as-Sabalání for Qahramán Mirzá, the governor of Adharbayján. The book, which has no proper title, begins abruptly with eight verses of poetry, of which the first three are as follows: ثنا بادزی ما باهل قبول پس از حمد یزدان و نعت رسول بباید شنودن بصد گوش و جان که اخبار شاهان پیشینیان بایتی چگونه بسر برده اند. که اندر ره دین چه سان مرده اند and then continues abruptly in prose (f. 2ª): نواب محمد حسن خان خدیو دانشمند و خسرو سعادتمند و سلطان عادل و خاقان باذل و ملك وافي العهد و پادشاه صادق الوعد بود الخ The text forms a continuous narrative devoid of divisions or chapter-headings, except for the Conclusion (Khátima), which begins on f. 57, and treats of matters connected with the author and his patron more appropriate to a preface.
