Summary of Contents: ظفرنامه شرف الدين على يزدى A good old MS, of the Zafar-ndma, the well-known history of Timúr by Sharafu'd-Din 'Alí Yazdí. See Rieu's Persian Catalogue, pp. 173-175, etc. This MS., which lacks the first and last pages, comprises 366 ff. of 24'2 x 16'5 C. and 21 ll., and is written in a large, clear fifteenth century nasta'liq. The initial words correspond to vol. 1, p. 2, 1. 14, of the Bibliotheca Indica edition, and the concluding words to vol. 11, p. 743, l. 1. The colophon, if there ever was one, is naturally missing. A note in Sir A. Houtum-Schindler's hand states that he bought the MS. in Tihrán in January. 1909.
