1 copy of Farhang-i Muḥammad Shāhī by Sarābī Tabrīzī, Muḥammad Karīm ibn Mahdī Qulī
F1a: Printed bookplate of Sani' al-Daula Muhammad Hasan Khan dated 1298. Later entitled I'timad al-Saltana he was one of Nasir al-Din Shah's ministers. On the bookplate the signature of Ellis. Front flyleaf, verso: account in siyaq. Under end of text: impression of rectangular seal of 'Abd al-Rahim. After text several folios with ruled margins, some coloured. These and the flyleaves have bits of poetry etc written on them. A Persian dictionary, written at the suggestion of Prince Bahman Mirza for presentation to his brother, the future Muhammad Shah. Ruled and gilded margins. Headings and punctuation in red.
