1 copy of Diwan of Jalal-i Tabib

Folios are missing or bound out of order. Main headings are 1) Bab II, mulamma'at ('macaronic' poems); Qism III, Persian poems. 3) Bab 1, Arabic poems. 4) Kitab-i Gul u Nauruz (a mathnawi. The original final of 4) has been pasted to the verso of the heading upside down. It had a date, which is now illegible. The end of 4) is supplied on two folios in a more recent hand with a colophon date Sha'ban 1235. F1a: vii James Mitchell (Mr Mitchell in pencil on the facing page). An early manuscript of good quality, though now defective. Margins and dividers in gold and black. Headings in gold and black for the most part. Others evidently added later, in red or black. Main headings on illuminated panels.

Incipit: Incipit, of Bab II: Chu shah-i haft kishwar shud zi chakh-i charumin paida.
