Summary of Contents: 'Tahẕīb al-Manṭiq va al-Kalām' is a work in logic (Manṭiq) and scholastic theology (Kalām) of Saʿd al-Dīn Masʿūd Taftāzānī (died 792 AH/1390). Two parts of this work have been commented on and annotated since its creation in several works. One of the most important works written on the logic part is Mullā ʻAbd Allāh Yazdī's commentary known as 'Quluhū', which is one of the main textbooks in Shiite seminaries (religious schools).

Cover detached from the copy.

History

Origin: Unknown place of origin; The copy was not scribed in 1244 AH/1829; it was only decorated in this year using cinnabar by the owner of the copy. The copying date should have been before the year 1233 AH/1818, as there is a purchase note in this year on f. 1a. 12-13th century AH; 18-19th century CE
