Summary of Contents: ʾAsrār al-shahādah is one of the works by Sayid Kāẓim Rashtī. Once on his return journey from Karbalā, while stopping in Qazvīn due to an illness, the author asked the translator - who was one of his followers - to translate this book into Persian. Upon a request from ʿAbd al-Vahhāb Qazvīnī, the book of Asrār al-shahādah sets out to describe and analyze the martyrdom of Ḥaz̤rat-i Imām Ḥusayn (sa) and the secrets of the Ṭaf event (Karbalā). It also includes some related hadiths and a comparative statement about some Quranic verses and the incidents of Āshūrā.ff. 129b-133aLanguage(s): PersianHistory
