One of several texts on the martyrdom of Ḥusayn ibn ‘Alī which sometimes bears this title. A note on folio 205b, line 4 claims that the original mes̠nevī یدی یوز یتمش اُچنده در تمام, i.e. that it was completed between 9 May and 4 August 1369; whereas a similar note on folio 117a of an alternative version of this text in Bodleian Libraries MS. Laud 66 states the that یدی یوز آلتمش اوچندیدی تمام, i.e. that it was originally completed between 26 August and 22 November 1359. The language of the text suggests that it is the same as the Maḳtel-i Ḥüseyn popularly attributed to either Yūsuf-ı Meddāḥ, Şādī Meddāḥ, a certain Ḳasṭamonılı Şāẕī, a certain ‘Āşıḳī, or a certain Lūṭ oġlı Yaḥyā. Supporting this claim is the fact that some manuscripts with the same title (e.g. Ankara Milli Kütüphane manuscript no. 06 hk 2976/1) bear the same first couplet.
