The story of Temīm Dārī, one of the companions of Muḥammed, a mes̠nevī by an anonymous author, beginning: اول الله ديالوم کم اول بزه زوقن مقصوم ایلدی قامو مزه. In J. Aumer, p. 51, the same poem is noticed, styled داستان تمیم وار with some alterations in the first beyt. Turkish prose-versions of the same story are found in Rieu, p. 2332, No. X, and in the Paris Cat., No. 78; a Persian prose-version is preserved in the India Office Library, No. 910 (styled there sail).
