Donations Register for May 19 1827. Folio one, recto: a) Note concerning the writing of the book, date Saturday (?) 14 Jumada II (only). b) Note of possession by Rajab 'Ali. c) Presented by Sir John Malcolm May 19. 1827. Folio 8, recto, in margin: impression of small elongated oval seal of Muhammad Rida, seemingly dated 1117. An Epitome of the History of Persia from Kayumars to A.H. 1046 (A.D. 1636) in the reign of Safi I. Shah Safi and even the Safavid dynasty as a whole are spoken of as in the past. The work would appear to be incomplete, even though it ends quite neatly. Headings and punctuation in red. On European paper, partly cream-coloured with three red lines ruled across each page, partly blue.
