Inside front cover, stamp, the name entered in ink: Presented to the Royal Asiatic Society by G C Haughton Inside back cover: a) Signature of G C Haughton b) a note, corrected in two places, the final version reading: A Catalogue of the Oriental MSS. in the College of Fort William. Copied out in the year 1813. A catalogue of the Oriental MSS in the College of Fort William. The entries for the manuscripts are laid out on a grid, printed in red, as for some kind of register, with spaces used for number title, condition, quality of script and language.
