Contents

Summary of Contents: 1 copy of Intikhāb-i akhbār-i Nawwāb Vazīr al-Mamālik Bahādur va intikhāb-i akhbār darbār-i muʻallá va aṭrāf

Imperfect at beginning and end. Evidently selected from two different compilations. According to a lable pasted on the front cover and a note on the front flyleaf recto, the first covered the period 17 Dhu Hijja 1708 to 9 Rabi' I 1209, the second ran from 6 Dhu Qa'da 1208 to 25 Jumada II 1209. The existing text begins on the recto a line before the date 17 Dhu Hijja occurs. The last surviving date is 20 Jumada II. The final folio has a catchword. The flyleaves bear faint writing in pencil in English, from a diary or notebook, perhaps belonging to David Price. A selected journal of occurrences which took place at the court of the Nawab of Oudh and neighbouring regions in A.H. 1208-1209. (A.D. 1794-95). See notes.
