A theosophical disquisition in the form of a dialogue between the author's higher and lower self

A Ṣūfī of this name is mentioned as one of the successors of Muḥammad Ṣādiq b. Fatḥ Allāh Gangōʼī Chishtī, محمد صادق بن فتح الله گتکوئی چشتی , and presumably lived in the second half of the seventeenth century: he is stated to have written a Risālah dar bayān-i az̲kār va ashghāl ( رساله در بیان اذکار و اشغال ) and an Arabic qaṣīdah, and it is possible that the author of the present treatise may be the same person

A theosophical treatise, variously ascribed to Maḥmūd Ushnūʼī “Durr-i Yatīm”, محمود اشنوئى "در يايم" , an obscure Indian Ṣūfī of the seventeenth century, and (as in this copy) to the celebrated ʻAyn al-Quḍāh al-Hamadhānī, author of the Tamhīdāt ( تمهیدان ) and other well-known works, who died in 533: the latter ascription is decidedly false
