Translation of vol.II of the Sanskrit epic by Abu 'l-Fadl and others. Not in Morley Printed Cat. Marginal pencil notes in English evidently in the hand of Major Price. Occasional loose slips inserted with ink notes in hand of Price, and other matters. One with date 1798, one 1830. Folio 1 recto: Ink signature of David Price. Title of book 9 and number of leaves. There a notes similar to this last on the recto of the first page of each book or pair of books. Front flyleaf: Name of David Price in Persian, set in pencil drawing (Design for a seal? Or dagger handle?). Title and catalogue numbers in pencil. Along bottom of book in ink: Maha Bahrat VOL. II. Red and black ruled margins.
