Inside front cover, printed slip: Lieut. Col. Briggs. At present contains a plastic envelope containing four pieces of paper, three inscribed in Persian. The largest is a list of books. Another a letter, perhaps a draft, with an obscure seal on the back. A History of the Qutb-Shahi dynasty of Golconda. Headings and punctuation in red.
